The Parade Committee and the Village of Freeport want to thank all groups and organizations participating in this years Parade.  We look forward to seeing you as we pay respects to the fallen in all the wars and conflicts of United States of America.

Parade Orders Revision 2

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I have made several amendments and corrections to the original Memorial Day Parade Order List.  

As of this writing, attached will be the parade lineup for the Memorial Day Parade.  (Revision 2)   

Anyone with a vehicle and/or Float is requested to be there early as Brookside Ave. gets crowded fast making it difficult at best to get through.

  

Anyone arriving late will be placed at the end of Division 1 (For safety concerns).  Thanks in advance for your cooperation.  Please feel free to pass this around.  Lets pray for good weather this year.

Final Parade Orders for Village of Freeport Memorial Day Observance

The Parade Orders below are final.  Many organizations have registered to march.  We thank all participating organizations for their cooperation with the Parade Committee for this years Memorial Day Parade and Observance.

Parade Orders - Tentative

The following are Tentative Parade Orders.
If your organization has not checked in with the Parade Committee then do so immediately.

Freeport Memorial Day Observance & Parade Orders

On Monday, May 25, 2015, the Village of Freeport and the various Veterans and Civic groups will conduct a Memorial Day Parade and Service.  We would be most grateful if your group or civic organization would attend the Parade and Service.

The Parade will start at Freeport High School on Brookside Avenue promptly at 10:00 am.

The Parade will conclude at Freeport Memorial Library where the Observance and Program will take place.  

  This year’s Parade and Observance honors the 70^th Anniversary of WWII and some surviving Veterans of that world changing conflict.  Participating will be Freeport Village Administration including Mayor Kennedy and the Nassau County Sheriff’s Honor Guard.
