Freeport Memorial Day Observance Honors WWII Veterans

We at the Post are proud of you and your service to our wonderful nation.  We here at the William Clinton Story Post would like you to share your story and we would like to put it in the Dugout for our May 2015 issue.

The May Issue of the Dugout will highlight the Freeport Memorial Day Observance & Parade.  We ask that you send us your information in the following format:

1)      Your Name, Rank at Discharge and Branch of Service

2)     Where you served during WWII (Europe, Asia, Pacific, Atlantic, etc.)

3)     What was your MOS (Job in the Service)

4)     Please tell us of any battles or engagements you were part of (Leyte Gulf, D-Day, Iwo Jima, etc)

5)     Please give us a brief account of your experience.

6)     Please send us a copy of  a photo of yourself during WWII and now.

(e-mail us at wcspost342@gmail.com or mail to the address on the letterhead.  Photos retained by the Post.
Do not send original photos.)  Photos and info can be e-mailed in .pdf, jpg or other formats.

Also, if you would like to participate in the Parade let us know.  We would like to consider you as a Parade Marshall for the upcoming Memorial Day Observance.

We also extend this courtesy to the families of Legionnaires and Veterans of WWII who have now passed from time into eternity.

Please send us the information asked for above and your loved one will be part of the Freeport Memorial Day Parade and Observance.
